During the winter of 2022, the DDHI will begin the first application of its methods and tools to a project outside of Dartmouth College. We are excited to collaborate with partners at the Vietnam Center and Sam Johnson Vietnam Archive at Texas Tech University to encode 50 interviews from their collection. This will be the first opportunity to test the compatibility of our tools with other oral histories. The collaboration will also allow the DDHI to revise its recommended workflow and guidance for future projects that are interested in applying DDHI tools and methods to their collections or research. We are looking forward to the results and having more oral history data that can be visualized using the DDHI Visualization Viewer.
