Once the interviews have been encoded and linked via the DDHI interview workflow, the data they contain is ready for visualization. Users will produce their own custom visualizations using the DDHI Data Visualization Viewer. This web-based application is designed to be intuitive and easy-to-use, even for users who may not have prior experience with data visualization.
One of the data visualizations is our data entity browser, which provides a visual representation of all the encoded entities in a single interview.
Another form of data visualization is a map feature, which allows a user to map all of the geolocatable places mentioned in an interview.
The DDHI Data Visualization Viewer is interactive and allows viewers to visualize encoded data and explore an interview in non-linear ways. To see the DDHI Data Visualization Viewer in action, please click here for our demonstration viewer.
